These performances are a perfect opportunity to bring the family out with blanket and chairs to enjoy music from Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region! \nThe final Tuesday Tunes of the season will take place on August 14\, from 6 to 9 p.m.\, and will feature The Pollocks!\n \nLocal food and beverage vendors will be on-site. Guests are encouraged to buy or pack a picnic and experience the beauty of James Monroe’s Highland at dusk. While alcohol will be available for purchase at Tuesday Tunes\, guests are asked to leave their own alcoholic beverages at home. \n\n\n\nAbout The Pollocks\n\nThe Pollocks started around a kitchen table and a bottle of brown liquor. Around 2008\, we had more songs than sense and decided that we were just as entitled to glory and riches as anybody. It’s not a complicated process- you turn on the machines\, plug in and give up your ghost. Then again\, there’s the job\, sickness\, breakups\, jealousy\, hangovers\, weather… So through thick and thinner\, we keep cranking out the widgets- flushing money down the toilet and swan-diving into the madness of it all.
