Starting Plants from Seed (Plus a Seed Swap!)

Join us on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., as we welcome the Piedmont Master Gardeners for a FREE program on starting plants from seed. Starting flowers and vegetables from seed is inexpensive and satisfying, but a lot can go wrong. In this Garden Basics session, you will improve your success rates by learning basic seed-starting techniques and the special needs of some seeds. Bring seeds (packaged and labeled with species info) for our Seed Swap. You will share seeds with others and take home seeds to try out your new skills.
